Radon surveying technique has been a convenient and effective radioactive exploration in the field of earth physical prospecting, which is applied widely in many fields. Radon measuring methods are so many, and idiomatic methods include principally active carbon measurement, general measurement,αtrack etched measurement, a instrument measurement, 210Po measurement, a collecting instrument measurement, heat releasing light measurement etc.Active carbon surveying technique is a static, accumulative way of Radon surveying technique. Its principle is that active carbon adsorber was imbedded underground for a while, then taken out and putted into instrument. We survey the intensity of y radial of Radon daughter in adsorber so that we understand the scale of Radon thickness. This method, beside resolving prospecting uranium, can resolve un-uranium geologic issues which take on faint Radon abnormity, especially, it can find some faintness abnormity, for example it can search for fracture zone of geological structure, groundwater, subsiding column in coal mine, lurking faults, location of underground fire region.The article, beginning with the basal theory of Radon and internal and overseas study actuality, discusses different measuring methods about Radon. After expatiating basic theory and method of active carbon measuring Radon, The article does detailed analysis and neatening for influencing factors of active carbon measuring Radon data. On the base of it, the article summarizes classical theory and calculating formula about data disposal of measuring Radon. Considering radioactive decay of Radon surveying, actual measuring data are required to revise. By analyzing the spectrum of y radial energy, we have realized to distill and revise measuring Radon data by computer.For the purpose of practical application, on the base of Windows developing platform, the author designs a visual and integrated Radon measuring data processing system by using object oriented language Visual Basic6.0, connecting if to Access through Microsoft Jet Engine which provides full support for SQL. The system can make the best use of computer resources and is not confined by computer memory, realize data storage and management in the database and process large data. It provides friendly GUI for user and can be user easily. At the same time it can improve greatly efficiency. The system is proved to be efficient when it is applied in data processing of Radon measuring of Nanyancun mine, Gujiao city in ShanXi province.During doing some exploring study for subsiding column in coal mine, the article discusses the state of Radon value change when active carbon adsorber was respectively embedded 20cm, 40cm, 60cm depth and draws some conclusion that in area of lower Radon the depth of embedding adsorber has a much effect on measuring Radon value by active carbon measuring Radon, however, in area of higher Radon the depth which is at the range of 20~ 40cm,has not obvious effect, but it has definite effect when the depth of adsorber is 60cm. Finally, author measured y radial intension in different time interval for taken adsorber and did time revise for caused change of measuring Radon data. Author obtained better effect by revising and analyzing actual measuring data. Without doubt, the production of above work has some rule on Radon measuring work of large-area active carbon and data handling or analysis and is good at explaining work of Radon measuring data. It has definite meaning for actual applying of active carbon measuring Radon.
