Geostatistics solid foundation estimated mineral reserves, and it has developed into the industry standard for estimating reserves, geostatistics to many as the core of the solid mineral reserves estimates and the development of software gradually mature. In this paper, the geostatistics, and the basic theory of GIS technology component, and then details of the estimated reserves based on ArcGIS system development and practice. Gis superiority in technology, not only in spatial data acquisition, storage, management, display and output of data integration process, more information should be reflected in its comprehensive, spatial analysis, forecasting and decision support capabilities. Geological methods and statistical analysis software package Gis link, geostatistics Gis integration of spatial analysis methods, the only way geographic information system technology in the supplementary geostatistics, and to better provide the basis for decision-making. This paper using ArcGIS platform With its powerful spatial analysis functions, the preparation of a technical component of solid mineral reserves estimates, and Quiong polymetallic mine data as the basis, calculated the Quiong copper and molybdenum mine abundance, and SD software calculated the results of comparison, fully demonstrated the feasibility of the system.
