Comprehensive logging unit is the main tool for comprehensive geological logging. It plays an important role in the exploratory development of oil and gas. The monitor software is an important component of the comprehensive logging unit and it is an important tool for monitoring drilling, analyzing logging information and making decision.This thesis proposes the design plan of wireless logging unit according to the functions of wireless logging unit. This thesis divides the monitor software of wireless logging unit into two parts: on-line software and off-line software and divides the function modules of the two parts detailedly. Using Visual C++ the monitor software of wireless logging unit is carried out.On-line software accomplishes the storage of parameters, including the direct parameters collected by sensors on drilling site and the indirect parameters calculated. On-line software puts these parameters into real-time database and displays the data of key parameters in the form of real trend curve. Multimedia timer is used to achieve accurate timing and meets the requirement of real-time data acquisition. Double buffer is used to display the real-time trend curve and monitor drilling real-timely. Multithreading is used to ensure real-time data storage, real-time trend curve displaying and alarm function modules running simultaneously and achieve the aim of assisting drilling.To provide information for geological logging stuff and drilling staff to analysis the subsurface deposit more accurately, off-line software accomplishes the displaying of data which stored in the history database in the form of report forms and trend curve. ADO technology is used to access history database and accomplish data post-processing function.The results of the laboratory simulation and on site testing show that the monitor software satisfies the requirement of logging application.
