Xinjiang region accounted for one sixth of China's land area, complex and varied geological conditions format abundant in non-metallic mineral resources. There are many kinds of non-metallic mineral with large reserves and resource potential, good quality and widely distributed, Xinjiang is China's important non-metallic mineral pool and vision regions, which has an important role in economic improvement, social development and people's living standards of Xinjiang along with whole country. However, the development and utilization of non-metallic mineral geological work of Xinjiang is still relatively low level on the intensity of relatively weak and have yet to be further strengthened from an overall perspective.The research establish the deposit three-dimensional model by ArcScene on the basis of drilling data based on established MS Access database, which are implemented by graphics systems management, data management, Three-dimensional display, three-dimensional analysis and geostatistics analysis based on the analysis system which is developed by ArcGIS Engine.The non-metallic mineral resources three dimensional modelling and the analysis are contents which proposed newly, therefore, this research is carries on the preliminary exploration in this blank domain. Moreover, it provides the foundation for the Xinjiang non-metallic mineral resources management, the use and the forecast as well.Non-metallic mineral resources three-dimensional modeling and analysis system of Xinjiang(XJN3DS) explore stratum level which generated by drilling data and interpolation in ArcScene and then format geological substance by extract inner borders and implement TIN interpolation. This approach provides another reference for the establishment of three-dimensional model.Non-metallic mineral resources three-dimensional modeling and analysis system of Xinjiang(XJN3DS) explore develop the design of system by the structure of ArcEngine + VB + ArcSDE + Access, try to use component-based integrated development approach. This development approach brings into play their respective advantages farthest, which has the definite researchful and promotive value.
