With the further development of oil/gas exploration, the igneous reservoir hasbecomeoneof important goals inoil/gas fieldprospecting. Igneous rocks arewidelydistributed in Tarim basin, and have a larger exploration prospect. But at present noone well has reached industrial flow level in igneous rocks. The research of igneousrocksbecomesonenewfieldofTarimoil/gasexploration.Inthisarticle,basedonigneousrockbasictheoryandtheanalysisondiagenesislithology characteristics of drilling data in the west of north tarim uplift—Yingmailiarea, I found igneous rock eruptive pattern of Yingmaili area, and study the igneouslithofacies in this area. Then based on the features of drilling data and seismic data,analyze and summarize the distribution of igneous rock and igneous lithofacies, andform the series of different igneous lithofacies identification: In east area, igneousrock mainly develops intrusive rock, and is difficult to differentiate with carbonaterock. I use time slice and attribute plane extracting to differentiate them, and thenverify this method by igneous rock reflection feature forward technique. Insouthwestarea,thedevelopmentrangeofigneousrockislarger,anditssliceisthick.Large sets of Permian igneous rock overlay to Silurian system. Use syntheticseismogram tocalibrate horizon,differentiatethe spatial distributionofigneous rockalong longitudinal and horizontal direction by integrated drilling data and seismicdata. Finally, I summarize the corresponding relations between YIngmaili lithologyandvolcanicfacies,andbetweenvolcanicfaciesandseismicfacies.After above steps, I predict Yingmaili igneous rock reservoir, and make asummary to reservoir prediction technique of this area: coherence technique doesbest in predicting reservoirs which are formed by crack, weathering and leaching. The effects become worse in the order of visualization, spectrum analysis andseismic attribute prediction besides coherence technique. The effects of waveimpedance technique are poorest. Integrated with these five methods, I analyzeYingmaili igneous rock. the effects in northwest and southwest reservoir ofYingmaili well-30 and are poorer than in southeast reservoir of Yingmaili well-30 towell-16.Finally, integrated with structure, reservoir, oil-gas source and cap rockdistributionetc.,Ichoosethebesttraptoprovidedrillingobject.From the global aspect, by analyzing Yingmaili igneous rock, I form a settechniqueofrecognitionofigneousrockandreservoirpredictioninthewestofnorthTarim, and provide a set of new idea and method for researching Tarim basinigneousrock.
