Since the 80's, remote sensing technology has been not only widely used in geological prospecting, metallogenic prediction and other fields, but also has been established a set of developed and mature extraction methods and workflows of showing mine features information by using remote sensing. At present, the extraction and expression study on alteration information have become the significant study direction in geological prospecting by using remote sensing. However, there are some limitations on application of these methods due to factors including geographical (topography, geomorphology, etc.), geological (minerals, construction, etc.), as well as means to achieve. The paper selected Lanping basin which is the key metallogenic belt and mineralization concentration area of Sanjiang region as study area, by means of remote sensing geological interpretation extracted geological structure information; summarizing and studying alteration information extraction methods, and expressing the result in three-dimensional form; under the guidance of theory and methods of metallogenic prediction, using GIS spatial analysis integrated with remote sensing, geological and geochemical information to identify possible exploration targets. The understandings generalized in this study as follow:1. The intersecting sites of the linear structure and the overlay sites of the linear and circular structure represent different favorable metallogenic information respectively. By assigned different value to those spatial sites found more intuitive favorable prospecting position via GIS platform.2. Using the methods of band ratio and principle component analysis can preferably extract essential alteration information in study area. Using the formula: mean + skewness* standard deviation conducted the grade of the strength of the alteration information.3. Based on the study on three-dimensional theory and workflow, tried to demonstrate alteration information in three-dimensional form and analyzed the relationship of alteration information, geology and terrain to obtain more intuitive and realistic visual effects.4. In accordance with the study above, interrelated and integrated information of remote sensing, geology and geochemical. And then used GIS spatial analysis to predict possible exploration targets.
