The units-Xiangcheng, Daocheng and Derong County located in the south of Yidun-Zhongdian island arc belt, which is a concentrated zone of nonferrous and rare metals in the middle-north of the Sanjiang tectonic belt. Since Indosinain epoch, this area experienced an evolution history including seduction orogeny of oceanic crust, collision orogeny and intra-continental orogeny. So, it will be very prospective to perambulate porphyry copper deposits in the region. In this paper, the units-Xiangcheng, Daocheng and Derong County is study region. Based on the understanding of previous geological data, firstly was processed the data pretreatment about RS image of geometry correction, color image and image enhancement. And then, performed the manual interpretation and the linear structures pick-up with the aid of RS enhancement. Based on the statistical analysis about linear structures, the pattern of geological structure in study area was generalized. Next, the metallogenetic alteration was distilled.Base on process with RS method, we use geophysical data, geochemistry data and known ore occurrence as data source and apply GIS in this area in order to synthetic analysis and metallogenic prediction. Finally we make a synthesis remote sensing mineralizing alteration abnormal image and delineate 6 mineralizing alteration abnormal areas in the study area. The mineralizing alteration abnormal areas tally with the known ore occurrence, so the application of these methods is feasible in the county. This work is forecast mineralizing alteration abnormal areas by synthesis data source for the first time. Hope it will help seek deposit in the future.
