Patch clamp technology has served as one of the most important methods in cell biology, and been used widely in the research of biology, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and neuroscience. As an important part of the whole system, patch clamp experimental software played a role in dada acquisition system control, data acquiring, saving and analyzing, offered user a friendly operating platform. But existing version of this software is faulty. Since it does not match the newly updated dada acquisition system. What is more, the functions which the existing software can fulfill are too limited to satisfy the experimental requirements. Besides, the way on which the software runs is not compatible to the user's operating habit. Therefore, it is quite necessary to develop software of new version based on the existing one. In this thesis, the design method and its implementation were discussed in detail.The task-oriented and service-oriented design notion was thoroughly carried out during this software's development. Urgent task was prioritized the highest priority, New method was worked out to meet the experimental requirement better. In this thesis the hardware and software frame were introduced firstly. Following that, the detail design of every function block and the relationship among were described. During this process, a detailed description was given to the template, view, document and windows frame classes of MFC. Moreover, memory mapping technology, self-defined message handling technology, design of USB2.0 interface program, programming and application of DLL were discussed. Finally, the method used in data acquisition calibration program was illustrated.The software has passed the validation of concerned person and been applied to biological laboratory work. Results demonstrated that the software matched the new data acquisition system well, and a comparably more comfortable and operating-habit -compatible platform has been created.
