In recent years, with the sharp demands of energy, petroleum exploration and development in offshore areas with less logging and more seismic data has become of special significance. Therefore, how to build a detailed and reliable geological model has become the highlight of offshore oilfield development, in order to make a scientific development plan, lower the risks and finally achieve the best effects.Guan Jiapu area of Dagang Oilfield is located in the shallow and beach areas with complex and various structures, so previous fault model, horizon model and petrophysical model do not accord with the current geological understanding. Therefore, after reassuring the geologic characteristics of structural reservoirs, this paper has, on one hand, built a detailed reservoir model by using the techniques of geological modeling, DLWD, geosteering and horizontal well optimization, and on the other hand, researched on real time following up of reservoirs to testify and improve the geological model. Several conclusions have been achieved as follows:1. Basing on reassuring the geologic characteristics of structural reservoirs, the structural model in studied area has been revised by using techniques of fault and horizon modeling, which has founded a firm basement for reservoir prediction.2. This paper has performed real time monitoring on horizontal well by using supervision while drilling and geosteering techniques, extracted and standardized the GR data, analyzed the relationship between DLWD and shale content and firstly applied the 3D geosteering model built with GR data into reservoir prediction.3. On the basis of 3D geosteering model, this paper has optimized space place and length of horizontal wells with the techniques of well track control and numerical simulation, to raise drilling returns-ratio and recovery ratio.4. This paper has analyzed the deliverability well while drilling according to geosteering model and a suit of real time following up methods and flow charts based on reservoir geological model have been established. The method and flow chart have not only enriched the theory of geological modeling but also guided the petroleum exploration and development in studied area effectively, and finally verified by the production. Firstly, a precise and reliable geologic model has been built with full knowledge of geological conditions, and then this paper tested and evaluated on the model, monitored and collected new drilling wells if the model didn't meet the real geological situation, loaded it into the model and corrected the model continuously until right. And at last, used the precise and reliable model as oriented model to guide and optimize the well tracks and do real time following up research.
