Satellite navigation makes a rapid progress in recent years , GPS(Global Positioning System), GLONASS and the Dipper navigation system has been widely used in different areas. Though the technology of the receiver has been developing fast , the satellite navigation signal simulator development is relatively lagging behind in China. With the application of navigation systems and the development of navigation industry, as well as the rapid development of receiver technology, we need for more precision, more functional simulator to provide debugging and research support.In this paper , the theoretical analysis and hardware implementation of the satellite navigation signal simulator are explored. The key technologies and the implementation of the simulator are detailed. The hardware function has been implemented. The main contents of this article include:Introduction of satellite navigation systems , signal characteristics , channel model and error model Discussion of satellite navigation signal simulator design and key technologies , the concrete realization of the program.Research the simulator hardware implementation from the aspect of theoretical analysis and engineering implementationResearch the receiver test and simulator verification technology and testing mode.In this paper, a systematic analysis of the principle of the simulator and the hardware implementation techniques are discussed, testing methods for the receiver indicators are also discussed. The hardware has already been implemented, and the measurements fulfilled the desired effect.
