For the prospecting in oil field, reservoir prediction can be closely integrated with the production practice, basing on the following technique, such as seismic inversion, seismic attribution technique, and seismic facies analysis. This article is to make qualitative predictions for the sandstone reservoir in NanTun Group in Southern Area of WuErxun Hollow, using the technique of reservoir prediction.Based on the theory of Sedimentology and Sequence stratigraphy, the third order and fourth order sequence stratigraphic structure are established, and the interface identifier is established. On the basis of this, we made a fine interpretation of the formation of Nantun group. Four four-layer sequences are classified in Nan-1 member, and three four-layer sequences are classified in Nan-2 member. On the basis of analysis the views of predecessors carefully, using Seismic, well logging, drilling, core data, single-well phase analysis, seismic facies analysis and attribute analysis, taking fourth order sequence as a smallest unit to Analysis the distribution of characteristics of depositional systems of the plane in the study area, and determine the development regulation of sedimentary systems. I made a clear understanding of the flat sedimentary facies distribution rule in study area, and have a qualitative understanding of distribution of sandstone reservoirs and physical property. Concerning the sequence stratigraphic framework, this paper analysis the logging and geophysical response, establish the geological model to determine the inversion method of reservoir prediction in this area, and made a lateral reservoir prediction.Through the technology in the study of integrated application block and a comprehensive evaluation of various means of reservoir, this paper establish a favorable zone, and provide a basis for the design of objective optimization and development plan.
