As China's rapid economic growth, oil in China's conventional energy structure share is growing. And China's oil demand gap is also growing. Oil has been a threat to the security of our national energy strategy. Moreover, in the process of looking for replacement of the energy, as well as continued strong global demand for oil and gas resources, in the next two decades and even more distant time, the oil and natural gas remains the world's most important driving force of energy, which determines the geophysical exploration into a stronger long-term vitality of the industry. With the new requirements in seismic exploration situation, as well as the promotion of network technology, embedded technology and software technology, geophysical equipments have put forward higher requirements of the seismic data acquisition system in the signal quality, acquisition capabilities, massive data processing, transmission, construction efficiency and HSE. It's becoming more and more obvious of the importance and necessity to establish a complete communication protocol in a large-scale distributed seismic data acquisition system.This proposed research is aimed to investigate the design and implementation of the seismic data transfer protocols in the Large-scale Seismic Data Acquisition System. Based on in-depth study of seismic data exploration technology, a suitable for the seismic data transmission protocol is designed. First of all, the function and non-functional system requirements is comprehensively analyzed; then the protocol layered architecture, frame format, interactive processes and finite state machine model are designed; thirdly, the protocol implementation is achieved combined with network technology and embedded technology; finally, a systematic and comprehensive test is conducted and proposals for improvement are made.Relying on the actual project, this research implemented a real-time seismic data processing system to meet user requirements, and adopted the acceptance testing, both in functionality and performance to achieve design objectives. Experimental results show that the system can be completed with the other parts of the seismic data acquisition, transmission, recording, and other functions. The self-developed seismic data transfer protocols is an integral part of the new seismic recording system will be manufactured and marketing, so as to have good practical value and application prospects.
