The gear-hobbing process is an important way of teeth gear processing. Based on the study of the working principle of gear-hobbing,the traditional gear-hobbing pointed out the existed question in modern gear processing and put forward reasonable reconstruction scheme, namely triaxial linkage PLC reforming scheme.In order to use PLC to gear-hobbing for automation control, this paper make the following transformations:In hardware transformations, to overcome the defects of traditional gear hobbing transmission, adopt more motor driving mode control process of zero, the motor shaft connected directly with movement, remove in the middle of the transmission mechanism, reduce transmission error so as to improve the machining accuracy;In order to better implementation process automation, adopt the sensors to detect the movement process, make the PLC and feedback the better control process;In order to enhance the function of gear-hobbing after reforming and maneuverability, adopt touch screen man-machine interface for exchange;In order to improve the PLC in the processing of moving parts for control performance, using controlled the good performance of servo system.In PLC software programming, according to hardware retrofit situations, to determine the PLC I/O distribution, according to the process requirement for last PLC programming. After transforming gear processing the test results show that after this numerical control transformation, gear machining accuracy by original 0.001 mm to raise 0.0002 mm, machining efficiency increases about 30%.
