Studies On Wetland Resource And Protection Of Nan Dagang Area Basing On The GIS And RS Technology

This paper is one of the important components of the project "studies on the structure and function of wetland natural ecology system and protection" subsidized by nature science fund of He Bei province. The author applies GIS and RS technology to the study on wetland resource and protection of Nan Dagang area in order to make it realize scientific management effective protection and sustainable exploitage. Using GIS technology, the author analyzes the environmental aspects of wetland of Nan Dagang area ,such as position landforms, climates, which has important affection on the wetland formation and development. By integrating RS and GIS technology and establishing classification system and interpretation symbols, the author interprets the RS imagine obtained from landsat in June, 2000 and investigates the present distribution of wetland resource included classification and surface area calculation. The wetland functions of Nan Dagang such as biodiversity, environmental function economic value are studied with field survey laboratory analysis and GIS technic. Using the RS imagine obtained from different time, the author analyzes the temporal-spatial dynamic changes of wetland of Nan Dagang area. By studying the climatic environmental factors and human activities the author exposes the reasons of the temporal-spatial dynamic changes of wetland of Nan Dagang area. Based on the above studies, the author points out the important significance of wetland protection of Nan Dagang area and proposes the protection measures.
