Application study on wastewater treatment with Fenton reagent oxidation method is an important direction of environmental sciences research and is also an important method of wastewater with chemical oxidation method. However, today only conventional Fenton reagent oxidation method is applied widely in industry. In this paper, aniline category wastewater treatment with Fenton reagent oxidation method is studied systematically. The major contents and conclusions of this study include the following parts:1 The effect of inorganic ions on the catalytic oxidation ability of Fenton reagent. This study selects some represent inorganic ions to investigate the effect of them on the degradation of aniline with Fenton reagent. Results show that ferric ions can enhance the catalytic oxidized ability of Fenton reagent. Phosphate, chloride ions, copper ions and bicarbonate ions will suppress the catalytic oxidized ability, and the inhibition ability of these ions is: H2PO4-(Cl-(Cu2+(HCO3-. For the ions of sulfate radical, nitrate radical and ammonium, the effect of these ions on the Fenton's system catalytic ability was not found. On the other hand, the action mechanics of inhibition of the inorganic ions is discussed. 2 The factors of affecting aromatic compounds degradation and the oxidation mechanism of aromatic compounds by Fenton reagent The catalytic degradation of aniline-containing water by Fenton reagent is studied in order to investigate the factors of affecting aromatic compound-containing water by Fenton reagent. The mechanism of aniline-containing degradation and intermediate product are profound discussed using ultraviolet spectrum and infrared spectrum.; On the other hand, simulated wastewaters of benzene, phenol, aniline, methylbenzene, nitrobenzene and phenylformic acid were treated by Fenton reagent. The variations of molecular structure before and after oxidation are investigated by ultraviolet spectrum. The oxidation mechanism of aromatic compounds by Fenton reagent was discussed and analyzed.3 Kinetics study of catalytic degradation of meta-nitroaniline with Fenton reagent The catalytic degradation reaction of meta-nitroaniline with Fenton reagent is studied. Some factors that influence the catalytic degradation reaction are researched. The correlativity of the reaction time and the remain concentration of meta-nitroaniline is analyzed by the unitary linear regress equation. The result of the analysis proves that the degradation of meta-nitroaniline by Fenton reagent is in conformity with first-order dynamics model. The apparent first-order rate constants and activation energy are calculated.4 Application study on wastewater treatment with Fenton reagentAniline category dye wastewater is treated with Fenton reagent oxidation method, The effluent can be easily treated by biochemical method. In addition, A study on the treatment of aniline category dyeing-chemistry wastewater by depriving ammon and catalytic oxidation and adsorption is carried out. The results meet the nation discharge criteria in pulping process. This method is simple in technology, convenient in operation, remarkable in effect and it will not cause a second time pollution etc.
