In this paper, the question that how to establish the direct-test model in flexography print is solved.With the research of the paper, first of all, the resent conditions of the flexography and the problem of print quality in the flexography are introduced; the principle of the print qualification test is discussed. In the analysis of the classical density testing system, the question and shortcoming in the system itself are pointed out. With the development of the chromatology, there is a solid theory foundation in image chromaticity direct-measure By contrasting the density testing and the chromaticity testing, it is pointed out that chromaticity testing is the most probable trend in the development of print qualification test.In this paper, the work as follows is finished: (l)the relationship of the dot area coverage, dot density and solid density is discussed; with the Neugebauer Equation as model, in the basis of experimental proofs chromaticity, the standard proof and testing proofs dot area coverage is calculated, also the method is tested. (2) By using binomial principle, not only the relation between dot density's change and dot area coverage's change is found out, but the testing proofs dot density is figured out. (3) By using Yule-Nielsen formula's transforming formula as model, the testing proofs solid density is calculated, so the ink difference between standard proof and testing proof is checked out.As the test model is both simple and accurate, it can be used in practical manufacture.
