Modular Design And Its Application Research On The Grinding Product Line Of Bearing Ring

With the development of the era, customer need is becoming more and more variable and unstable. It confronts the manufacturing industry with the conflict between increasing demand for needed variety and reducing the product design cost. As an effective tool for this problem, modular design is becoming more and more importance from the society.To meet the demand of the society and the development of modern design theory, the thesis give his own opinion of the concept of modular design, starts with the layered attribute of process of modular design, give a set of formulae to take module compartmentalization and foundation, open out a suit of software of module management system based a suit of module flexible coding system, and analyze a module with ANSYS software. These theories are proved by an example of modular design on grinding product line of bearing ring.The thesis takes a systemic research of modular design in the grade of modern design theory and modern production development pattern. This work is good for the development and the application of modular design.
