With the market competition increasingly fierce,rapid response to market,meeting customers for personalized demands and reducing design and manufacturing costs have become the problems that the equipment manufacturing industry must pay attention to and solve.The modular design technology has a huge advantage to reduce product development and design complexity,shorten product development cycles,ensure product quality,reduce design and manufacturing costs,enable customers to participate in product development and so on.Modular design technology meets the requirements of mass customization production and green maufacturing,and so that it can make equipment manufacturing enterprises adapt the fierce market competition.As the most basic equipment of equipment manufacturing industry,CNC machine tools represent the basic level of a country's manufacturing industry.Therefore,it has important theoretical and practical significance that using modular design method in the design and production of the CNC machine tools.This paper studies the CNC machine tools modular design oriented to customer requirements and it focuses on the inter-domain mapping of the customer domain,functional domain and structure domain.CNC machine tools module division and evaluation can be achieved in accordance with the product structure model and the CNC machine tools module division and evaluation system is developed based on Matlab/GUI.It provides some theoretical basis for CNC machine tools Modular design.The main contents of this paper are outlined as followed:(1)Analyze and collate customer needs.Based on RAHP and information entropy,customer demand computing model is built.With this model,the paper calculates and determines the important degree of customer needs of machine tool products.(2)By analyzing the characteristics of CNC machine tools,the paper establishes the inter-domain mapping model based on AD and QFD.It realizes CNC machine tools' mapping from the customer needs to product function,and the mapping from product function to product structure.Finally,functional model and structural model of CNC machine tools were established.(3)The paper analyzes and determines the basis of the module division of CNC machine tools.According to the relevant relationship between the elements,the correlation matrix model of the components can be build.It realizes the module division of CNC machine tool products based on fuzzy clustering analysis and obtains the dynamic clustering map based on Matlab.(4)According to the principles of classification module,the program evaluation criteria of CNC machine tools module division can be made.It can evaluate the programs of CNC machine tools module division based on TOPSIS method and determin the optimal partitioning scheme.(5)After the module division and program evaluation,the CNC machine tools module division and evaluation system can be developed based on Matlab/GUI.
