The characteristic and difficulty of the filtration separation in the Chinese traditional medicine and the conformation and property of the matter existing in the decoction are analyzed in this text for the solid-liquid separation of the Chinese traditional medicine. A integration technology of filtration and separation is put forward considering the inferior separation efficiency and long time needed. The brewage of the decoction of ageratum is studied as a case. The principle of the sedimentation of gravity and the sedimentation of centrifugal power is theoretically analysed. A contrast experimentation on the separating efficiency of the liquid Chinese traditional medicine is carried out through sedimentation by using gravitational sedimentation trough, hydroclone and centrifugal machine. As is indicated by the experimentation result, the separating efficiency of the centrifugal separation excel that of the gravitational sedimentation. It is indicated by second experimentation result that the major factor which affect the separating efficiency is the separating time and the separating factor. The content of magnolol and honokiol in the liquid Chinese traditional medicine separated by centrifugal separation is basically equal to that separated by sedimentation of gravity. So we can get the conclusion that centrifugal separation have no effect on the available component of the liquid Chinese traditional medicine.A experimentation on the precision filtration of the centrifugal separation output is carried out in order to improve the quality of the liquid Chinese traditional medicine. It is indicated by the experimentation result that the limpid degree of the liquid can be improved consumedly and it's officinal component can still meet the demand of the pharmacopoeia after the filtration. The characteristic and difficulty of the filtration separation employed in the Chinese traditional medicine production caused by the conformation and property of the solid-state matter existing in the decoction are analyzed in this paper, a kind of multiple filtration technology which have the function of selective adsorption and mechanical interception is brought forward and the mechanism of the multiple filtration is discussed according to the basic characteristic of the liquid and the property of the solid in the Chinese traditional medicine. The mechanism of the multiple filtration is discussed. The experimentation of adsorption and multiple filtrations is carried out. The adsorption ability on the protein and sugar in the liquid of the Chinese traditional medicine of nine kinds of sorbent include active carbon, diatomite and resin etc is studied. The adsorptive balance curve of the active carbon AQ30 and AQ40-BQ is worked out. The experimentation of adsorptive balance and penetrating the staid bed on the protein by the cation resin 732 is carried through. A experimentation of how the factors of sorbent types, dosage, adsorption way and adsorption time affect the effect of adsorptive separation on the protein is carried out. It is indicated by the experimentation result that the multiple filtration technology is prominent in wiping off the colloidal matter, the useless protein, the farina and the particulates.A set of integrate craftwork of filtration separation is worked out according to the concrete separation demand of the decoction of ageratum on the base of the study above. The types of the equipment and it's operation condition is presented. The experimental evidence for the application of the multiple filtration technology in the filtration and separation of the Chinese traditional medicine are provided in these research.
