| The spray coating of refractory fibers is a novel technique, which was developed in 1980s all over the world, and was introduced to China at the beginning of 1990s. In a short period, this technology was used in hundreds of industrial furnaces in China, and made evident economic benefits. So many people increasingly regard it.Although there is a serials of advantages in the spray coating technology of refractory fibers, researchers usually design and construct the industrial furnace according to design and construction methods of refractory brick and pouring materials in the design and construction process of the industrial furnace's brasque. Therefore, the spray coating technology of refractory fibers must be investigated more deeply, especially in using of common adhesives and thickness of the furnace's brasque in its design and construction in order to instruct the design and construction of industrial furnace.Considering these factors, the paper investigated the compositions of the adhesive that is mainly composed of methylcellulose and used in the furnace construction in the petrochemical industry. The influencing relations among the compositions, fibers' cohesive performance and the thermal conductivity of brasque in the spray coating process of refractory fibers were found. On the basic of this, the reasonable mixture ratio of adhesives compositions was studied. This adhesive, which is mainly composed of methylcellulose, has the excellent adhesion performance and lower thermal conductivity. Meanwhile, the feasibility of the adhesive, which is mainly composed of polyvinyl alcohol using in industrial furnace was investigated. Moreover, according to Fourier thermal conduction equation and construction experience of the brasque of high-temperature furnace, a theoretic equation which fitsin the high-temperature was built, and the feasibility of this method was confirmed by many practical cases. Meanwhile, its practicability and easy operation were found. |
