Design And Development Of Anticorrosion Management Information System Based On Frame Of The Client/Server

The anticorrosion MIS (management information system) is developed based on the frame of the Client/Server and the anticorrosion management of equipments in Dalian Petrochemical Corporation. The system is developed with Visual Basic 6.0 and Oracle 8i.In this paper, the following research fruits were achieved:(1) The system is a distributed management information system (DMIS) in LAN based on the frame of the C/S. It ensures not only the consistency of the data, but also the integrality.(2) The system should be operated by many users. It ensures the safety of the data through setting users' authority to limit users' operation. The system should backup and revert the data, so it should prevent lose of the data because of the hardware's failure or the person's misplay.(3) The system is developed with the method of mimetic Windows and MDI. It has excellence in interface, operation, function and running speed.(4) The system can save and manage the corrosion pictures and the files about corrosion. It has the interface with pictures and files.(5) The system manages the kinds of data independently and comes into being report form to printing.The interface of the system is friendly and the operation is easy. The system can improve the level of the anticorrosion management in Dalian Petrochemical Corporation. It makes anticorrosion management more normative, scientific and systematic, and it ensures that the equipments shall work without troubles.
