1.2MN Vertical Numerical Power Spinning Machine is a kind of seldom large-sized, high precision spinning machine with three rollers. Roller bases which is a key component influenced on the precision of workpiece is both the longitudinal block and the guide apparatus of cross blocks. Thanks to the shortage of prior period study, many technique matters on the structural design of roller bases have not been concluded definitely until now. Aimed at the roller bases structural design matters, structure analysis and particular study is made on the roller bases deeply by the means of FEM. The goal is to reveal the regularity of the distribution of stress and deformation of the key parts of roller bases, and offer technical support for achieving the successful design of the main body of spinning machine. The method adopted and the results obtained have reference value for improving the level of design on large power spinning machine. Analyses are made on the contact state of cross guide and block pairs and the distribution of stress and deformation of longitudinal guide and block pairs. A conclusion is put forward through the comparison of performance characteristic of the 1/3 models and the integrity model, which is that the tangential component of spinning force can not be ignored totally,1/3 model whose partition surface is constraint is able to substitute the integrity model only when the deformation of longitudinal and radial direction is estimated. The difference of structural performance between the two roller bases structure projects is revealed through the deformation displacement analysis of roller, the service life analysis of guide and block pairs, and the deformation displacement analysis of longitudinal guide. A conclusion that operational mode is the main factor of influencing on the service life of contact pairs, and the guide and block pairs of both roller structure projects meet the requirements of service life is put forward, based on the analysis on the service life of cross guide and block pairs .
