The frequency conversion technology is the main constituent of Power Electronics. The application of the frequency conversion is extremely widespread. It mainly applies in two domains: the speed conversion of alternator and the electric power supply. Since the power source is very important to the electronic equipment, the research to it is very necessary.The spinning machine is the most essential equipment in the production craft of the continuously viscose filament spinning. This article introduces the development of a new static frequency conversion power source of Viscose Filament Spinning Machine and analyzes the structure and the performance characteristic of this system.The frequency conversion power source system based on the PIC16F877 is introduced in this paper. In the main circuit, the components choices of three parts and computation of the main parameter is introduced.. The bipolar SPWM profile is produced by PWM producer SA4828. After being enlarged, it controls the open and on of IGBT in the conversion part to control the output voltage and frequency rate of the power source. In control section, the designing process of control desk, the watchdog timer, and protection circuit is introduced.In the process of software design of the system, software flow of the system is firstly analyzed and the master routine is discussed, then the detailed design process of the software modules, such as PI adjustment and CPU controlling of SA4828 is also introduced.Simultaneously, this article also discusses the requirement of electromagnetism compatibility which is necessary in the designing digitization system, and separately takes the corresponding measure from two aspects.Finally the simulation to designed system based on the software Matlab/Simulink is taken. The dynamical model of this system is constructed using of the software. These models include three - phase asynchronous motor,PWM wave output, PID adjustment module and so on.
