To cooperate with the development of the West Regions of China, speed up the Xinjiang economy the development, effective rational development and protect the Xinjiang Manas river basin ecological environment resources, this article makes a simple appraisal and the analysis which the basin ecological environment carries on to Manas river, it provides a reality basis for the Manas river basin development plan. Firstly, this article introduced the remote sensing and geographic information system some basic concepts, and it is used in ecological environment research application.
