Die casting machine is very important equipment in the die casting industry, but domestic die casting machine generally adopt PLC and industrial control computer (IPC ) to control, and the overwhelming majority relies mainly on the fact that the order of the switch is controlled, die casting quality awaits to improve further. The design of a digital controller for die casting machine, to try the improvement of the traditional control method of die casting machine and improve the competitive power of the domestic die casting machine, is the main research of this thesis. Regard high reliability as the goal, design the software and hardware to the digtal controller for die casting machine, plan to apply the hydraulic servo control strategy to the control system of die casting machine, so has specially designed relevant electronic circuit is in the hope of improving die casting quality. The preliminary test indicates, this controller can meet the demand for control of the die casting machine basically, have made the foundation well for further research.Chapter one introduces the present technology and development trends of domestic and international die casting industry at first, after analysing various kinds of control methods of the control system of the die casting machine at present, proposes the improvement scheme of a subject, and states the selected title meaning of a subject and main research contents.Chapter two discusses the principle and component of JS280 die casting machine. Firstly, the general operation principle about die casting machine is introduced, and the whole mechanical structure is explained. Secondly, the electric liquid control system principle is analysed on the whole. Lastly, the simple introduction to the improvement scheme which applied the hydraulic servo control strategy to the control system is giveaChapter three thoroughly presents hardware design of the embedded controller of DSP, includeing systematic planning and design of resource, dividing the whole hardware into many functional modules, selecting the components to compose the controller, and the design of every functional modules.Chapter four concerns on the software design of the embedded controller of DSP. The software is modularized, and a deep research on reliability and anti-jamming design of this DSP controller is made in this chapter.In chapter five, the author focuses on the on-the-spot experimental study to this embedded controller, and introduces its operation procedure and analyzes the results of the test. The preliminary test indicates, this controller can meet the demand for control of the die casting machine basically.Chapter six generalizes the work of this project and proposes some suggestion of the further research on the basis of research work achievement already made.
