| Fogging on solid surface is a familiar phenomenon in life and manufacture,which has caused serious influences in some fields, such as the motor industry,agriculture, manufacturing and so on, and attracted extensive attentions of chemists.Plastic materials have replaced conventional inorganic glass in recent years, becauseof their excellent properties in lightweight, impact resistance, processability, anddyeability. However, plastic materials are defective in anti-fogging andabrasion-resistant, and the disadvantages restrain their broad application. Therefore itis necessary to develop new coating films with anti-fogging and abrasion-resistantproperties for the development of modern science and technology.In our work, according to Molecule Design Principle, the epoxy groups andhydroxyl groups with anti-fogging and abrasion-resistant were added into thepolymer molecules, and then we synthesized new hydrophilic and abrasion-resistantcoating films via cross-linking reaction. The optimum reaction conditions wereconfirmed: Tgel = 50 ℃, 0.5 h and Tcure 110 ℃, 2 h.
