Both classical control theory and modern control theory base on accurate s. Yet for many systems, it is either hard or impossible to construct a model. This dependence of traditional control theory on rigorous has greatly limited its application. What is more, it is difficult to automatically adapt the parameters of traditional controller to varying controlled objects. Hence it becomes a urgent demanding to bring about an effective control method that is independent of a system's..During the preparation of Sodium 5-nitroguaiacolate,the accurate controlling of has a lot of effect on the output and overall yield. The temperature of nitration reaction is of inertial and lagging nonlinear characteristics, and the complexity of the actual controlling procedure renders it difficult to get the exact value of the parameters. On the one hand, a temperature control system is a complex automation system hard to build a mathematical model, or to control by the general control theory; on the other hand, it can be handled by a skillful operator or technician.The emerge of intelligent control, which has branched out into expert control and fuzzy control, is the very remedy for what the traditional control theory lacks. Instead of building accurate mathematical model, it controls a system utilizing the ratiocinating methods of humankind. That is, by organizing mankind's valuable experience into systematical knowledge base and reasoning framework, Intelligent control theory achieves its ideal controlling aim.Combining the merits of both the expert control and fuzzy control, which is independent of the mathematical model of the controlled system for the former and being able to deal with non-exact and uncertain information for the later, this thesis introduces the temperature controller of nitration reaction we developed. The controlling scheme as well as basic formula of the rule base and the is described with great detail. The emulation results show that our fuzzy and expert temperature controller of nitration reaction is quite robust and intelligent.
