Study On DNC Technology For CNC Networking

In this paper, the structure of NC system, network communication and CAD/CAM/DNC system are mainly investigated and a network NC machining applied system is developed.According to the protocol conversion networking theory, make the CNC which has RS-232 serial port to be linked together.At the same time,a new type of DNC communication structure is brought forward, and the function of data communication,real-time control are all realized.On the basis of the Windows Multi-thread technology, a convenient and useful DNC communication system is developed.By using the system, many CNCs(the quantity can reach to 256) could be controled synchronously by one host computer and the host computer can be work with no operator.Through practical running, the system performs the characteristic of good reliability,high stability and strong practicability,which can improve the execution efficiency of CNC remarkably.This establish good and basic technical foundation for enterprise to achieve network manufacturing and highly automation manufacturing.On the basis of AutoCAD2000, graphics automatic programming system is developed.Importing DXF file of simple planar graphics and through setting postpositive parameter and technologic parameter, NC codes can be created automatically. These NC codes can be transmitted to the CNC through serial communication, so the integration of control and programme is realized.
