With the development of modernized plate process technology of hot rolled strip towards supermatic, the accuracy control of plate shape, size accuracy and combination mechanical character appears more and more importance. The thorough research on the plate shape theory and the metal flow behavior in the process of hot strip rolling has a vital significance on achieving the high accuracy control of plate shape and enhancing the performance of strip steel. The roll system deformation is the important content of the plate shape theory. Accurate calculation of the elastic deformation of the rolls is one of the premises to realize the proper design of the original roll forming and the bettter control of the plate shape. The practical metal resistance of deformation during rolling can be turely reflected by thermal simulation experiment, which has a vital engineering significance for more accurate deterimine of the rolling technological parameters and making more rational rolling schedule, and provides the reliable foundation to simulation of the rolling. The simulation and analysis of three-dimensional metal flow regularity during the strip steel being deformed can help us to find the relation between the distribution of the stress along each direction of strip and some rolling factors, and scientifically benefits to control the plate shape and the size accuracy of the rolled strip. The rolling technology and equipment for typical product, the stock (150×800×9500mm) being rolled to intermediate plate (22×800×lmm) by two-roll mill and finished plate (3.0×800×Lmm) by four-roll mills, were analysised in this paper. The elastic deformation of the roll for two-roll mill and the working roll for four-roll mill were calculated and researched separately with free-beam method (FBM) and finite element method (FEM). The resistance of deformation of the Q345 sample was tested by tensile experiment in different temperatures and several deformation velocities on Gleeble-1500 thermal analog machine. The process of rough rolling with two-dimesion model and finish rolling model with three-dimesion were separately simulated on the base of the elastic-plasticity and rigid- plasticity FEM by ANSYS as a large-scale FEM software. The metal flow behavior during rolling deformation, distribution of stress, etc was discussed. The flexivity of the roller axial line was reflected by the results of the elastic deformation of the roller calculated separately with FBM and FEM,but the results of...
