This paper takes analytic software ANSYS and model building softwareSolidWorks as the main development tool to carry out three-dimensionalnumerical simulation of the process of head cold formed by mouldless spinning,proceeded the finite element analysis and optimized the structure of spinnerbody, confirmed the energetics parameter, optimized the structure and lightenedthe weight of spinner body.First, confirmed the boundary condition, contact and space movementaccording to elastic-plastic macro deforming finite element theory and actualcircumstance of head process. Got the flat blank deforming characteristic anddistributing regulation at different passes and deformation process of headmouldless cold formed spinning by three-dimensional numerical simulation withthe ANSYS software. Confirmed maximum spinning force at the head spinningprocess;provided dependable basis for confirming the energetics parameter andstructure optimization of spinner body.Second, performed static finite element analysis of the spinner body afteranalyzing the operating principle and stress condition of spinner;checked theintensity and rigidity of spinner body;confirmed the dangerous position andproceeded the topology optimization analysis;put forward improved projectaccording to the analysis results and then got the satisfied structure that settle fordesign request and provided the foundation for further optimization of spinner.The main idea of structure topology optimization is converting the problemof looking for excellent structure topology to searching for excellent materialdistribution in specified design region. By introducing into many microstructurewith holes in design region the problem of structure topology optimization couldconverted to the one of size optimization of the microstructural hole. This papermade topology optimization calculation by ANSYS and certificated that thisoptimization method can get the clearer results.
