It is inevitable to exist excessive water in the crude oil in the late exploitation of many outdate oil field and exploitation on the ocean flat. It is not valid to process oil very well without dealing with crude oil. It is necessary to have water-oil separation equipments for purifying and separating crude oil. Meanwhile, it is necessary to dispose oil from sewages to reach the national standard in the industrial sewage treatment, and the water-oil separation equipment is urgent need too.According to the practical need for water-oil separation equipment and theory of centrifugation, through the methods of and design, a suit of water-oil mini-hydracyclone and vane centrifuge are designed in the articleComparing with typical available water-oil hydracyclone, we reduce the measures of the hydracyclone to raise the separation factor. We choose the suitable structure to optimize the flow field of the hydracyclone and to reduce pressure drop throughout numerical simulation in various of inlet pipe and vortex pipe. All the methods above are advantageous to improve the performance of the hydracyclone.There are a large of declining vanes in the centrifuge. Comparing with the general disk separator, the materials nearby inlet pipe can divide into each slots equally, and the materials can separate efficiently. And then we can increase the length of the vanes with the purpose of raising separation efficiency. What high density declining vanes make the flow in the centrifuge is laminar flow. It makes oil particle cohesion and sedimentation more stable. And then it reduces the sedimentation distance of oil particle and the sedimentation distance of the vane centrifuge is one twenty to one thirty of same diameter centrifuge. When the rotor ran quickly, material droved by the vanes and with the synchronous rotation, compared with general centrifuge, rotate angular velocity bigger. The vane centrifuge, using of water-oil separation, has better separation effect undoubtly.This paper is mainly to study separation efficiency of centrifuge equipment via ultraviolet fluorescent apparatus as an important method. We have concluded the best flow split of hydrocyclone and the best operational point under some working through out experiments. It plays an vital signification to practical of hydracyclone. We have adjusted rev of centrifuge, flux and viscosity of material in order to study the separation performance such as the separation efficiency and heavy product concentration of centrifuge and so on.The research of experiments have showed that the water-oil hydrocyclone has a good separation efficiency in a few working condition ,and that the water-oil hydrocyclone has make against separation because of cutting inside of hydrocyclone plenty and meanwhile resulting in oil particle broken in higer pressure ? The efficiency of vertical centrifuge is better than hydracyclone and can get very pure heavy products. We may improve structure of hydracyclone to further raise ratio in order to reach a good separation effects.
