In the highly competitive market of injection mould,the technology of design and manufacture has developed rapidly.The main problem faced by mould enterprises is how to quickly response to market changes and complete the design and manufacture of high quality mould on time.To solve this problem, injection conceptual design system based on AHP is developed,and the key technology of mould knowledge database,the AHP decision process and decision indicators of AHP are studied.In this study, the characteristic of mould industry, knowledge database and decision project are analyzed in brief.Then the features of mould design and manufacture and the current technology status of mould industry are introduced.The necessity of developing the system is explained.Integrating the concept of KBE, the method of RBR and CBR intergration is applyed.According to the theory of AHP, the decision of sub-organization scheme of mould firstly being evaluated and then the whole organization scheme being followed is proposed, at the same time the selection of indicators in this process is discussed.The three layers mode of Browser/Server is adopted as system frame,and the Injection Mould Conceptual Design System based on AHP for small and medium mould enterprises is developed with JSP and SQL technology. In this part, the contents of whole design scheme including the structure module and the process of work are explained at first, and then the designing and the realizing process of main modules are also described in details. Finally, the mould for handspike of injector as a example is presented to validate the correctness and feasibility of this system.The system of mould design based on AHP can resolve the problem that how to improve the efficiency of design and choose the proper scheme of mould. So it makes mould design more efficient and reasonable, especially for those who are freshmen in mould design. Using the method of AHP, it makes mould design more matched with equipment in mould enterprises in a greater degree, and enhances the efficiency of mould design and manufacture, and reduces the cycle of mould design and processing.In a word, the knowledge database theory of mould design and the method of AHP are discussed particularly in this paper, and a beneficial assistant is provided for mould designer by realizing the fuction of automatically designing for mould scheme and scheme evalution with AHP in the Injection Mould Conceptual Design System Based on AHP.
