Numerical control flame automatic pipe-cutting machines are pivotal equipmentsin producing ocean platform jacket components. After study on new imported flameautomatic machine in China Petroleum Platform Manufacturing Company, Theresearch falls to developing independent intelligent and automatic software controlsystem, which gets rid of defeats of inconvenience and incompleteness of jacket jointintersecting curve models in software system enclosed with the imported machine.The research aims at equipping a convenient and automatic software system to thenew imported NC flame automatic pipe-cutting machine. The main achievements ofthis paper are:Component information inputting and saving codes are programmed and thecomponent structure parameters are appended to the given drawings as well.Meanwhile, every component is equipped with a small database, which is easy forsearching and modification.Based on the acts of the cutting torch, mathematic equations of many incisiontracks are established. In addition, many models of new intersecting joints such as:ring-pipe intersecting curve model and cone-pipe intersecting curve model are set up.Calculation codes of different intersecting models are programmed according todifferent intersecting types. Section drawings, template drawings and template datalisting are completed at the same time.Weight and cg of the whole jacket are calculated.Based on the producing process of the automatic pipe-cutting machine, somespecific dots and transition cutting are analyzed.Through testing and application on the spot, the new system has increased theaccuracy and reliability of jacket components cutting process. As such, the producingefficiency has been improved greatly. |
