| The explosion of fuel gas and dust is one of the main accidents that threaten people'sproduction and living. Therefore, it is very necessary to prevent the hazard of explosion thatexactly master the explosion principle, establish corresponding experimental facility andstudy the explosion characteristic.In this paper, the domestic and external development of the gas and dust explosion wassummarized. In this base, inquiring into the explosion principle and characteristic of the fuelgas and dust, and putting forward the theory of establishing pipeline experimental facility offuel gas and dust. In the circle pipeline, only while D≥λ/π, detonation wave can be producedand spread. According to above condition, it is an essential condition that the diameter ofcircle pipeline D≥λ/π=108mm , the mixture of methane and air can generate detonation andspread. In this base, the experimental device of 3.268m length, 139mm circle pipeline's innerdiameter, 6.4MPa compression is designed and produced. It include three parts: main bodypart, secondary part and control part. The water pressure test for strength and tightness of thedevice is checked up, and then it is installed and adjusted. Through some preliminaryexperiments of the explosion limit of methane, the data from experiment is consistent withthat from literature and inlet gas at one-end is better at two-end. The density of methane isnearer normal concentration, the flame is faster. It is proved that the design of thisexperimental device is scientific, appropriate and utility. It can fully meet the relatedexperiment requirement. |
