Sirospun is a short technological flow of strand yarn, sirospun yarns are stronger, less hairy, and more abrasion resistant than traditional single yarn. So it has been applied to wool, cotton and hemp spinning system.Now silk spinning system still adapt traditional way to spin. According to the technological flow of silk spinning system there will be some advantage to apply the sirospun technique to the silk spinning: first it will cut off some working procedures, second it can save the loss of burning hairy.So this paper main study how to apply the sirospun technique to the silk spinning system, and discuss the spinning parameters which affect the properties of yarn.Fist this paper discusses the parameters: traveler;strand space and twist, an optimum technological parameter is obtained by mathematic analysis of multiple objective function optimization, so the optimum technological parameter is : traveller56.4mg;552.6twist/meter;13mmstrand space. By comparing, the silk sirospun yarn is superior to traditional silk yarn in the synthetical properties.This paper also discusses how to apply the siropun technique to produce silk/spandex core-yarn and measured on structure and some properties;Analysis the influence degree of pre-drafting ratio on the core yarn properties;find the optimum technological parameter by experiments: pre-drafting ratio 4;450 strand twist/meter;12mm strand space.By static simulant experiments the paper analysis the effects of sirospun twist, strand space on the sliver twist and strand twist. The paper also studies the spinning geometry in sirospun "v" regeon;discusses the fluctuation of convergence point.
