As an important ecosystem and common service for human beings, wetlands provide habitat for wildlife and plentiful means of livehood and production as well. In recent years, due to economic development, population growth and urban expansion, the human environment of the interference and destruction of wetlands growing, how to prevent the degradation of wetland has becoming the major issue .The wetland study in Huang-hua is based on Geographic Information Systems(GIS) technology and Remote Sensing(RS), through the information retrieval results, analysis and forecast the change of wetland landscape with the Markovian models, the Convertion Marix and the Dynamics Rate, evaluate the eco-environmental quality of the wetland due to the change of landscapes.The main body of the thesis can be divided into five parts:In the first part, introduce the studying background , the studying reason and the research progress of RS and GIS.In the second part, introduce the regional profile, the climate, the water, the landform and the land utilization.In the third part, describe the research methods and guide line. This article contain three studying methods, the first is the method of information extraction , the second method is the dynamic analysis in landscape, the last is the ecological evaluation.In the fourth part, extract the information of wetland based on the RS and GIS, and paint the distribution chart of the wetland landscape in 1987 and 2003, through the distribution chart, statistics the areas of wetland landscape.In the fifth part, the thesis use the Convertion Marix, Dynamics Rate analysis the change of wetland landscape from 1987 to 2003, based on the analysis, use the Markovian models forecast the trends of the wetland landscape, through the evaluation index of theecological quality, the article evaluate the ecological quality of the environment. At last, put forward the problem which the wetland faced and the protect measures.Through the study, the result indicates that the area of the Huang-hua wetland reduced, the artificial wetland increased notably, the recession of wetland is continuing and the change of landscape damaged the ecological environment. Faced with these problems , we must take some measures to protect the wetland.
