The rolling regulation of tandem cold-rolling mill is the basis of the cold rolling manufacture.The optimization of the regulation can make the rolling process steady,improving the mill's efficiency,increasing the output of the mill and acquiring good economic benefits for the enterprises.On the base of reading various references and the rolling regulation which offered by a Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited. After has research on the model, optimization method related to the cold rolling regulation,this paper create the schedule calculation and optimization sofeware According to a factory's situation. The software aslo has a good work platform.This thesis regresses the model of tensile stress, the model of power consumpution and the model of arm of force coffience for 4 kinds of steel.It also select the right rolling force model and the forward slip model for different kinds of steel,creating appropriate tension and reducing system.Base on the reserach,this paper works out the rolling software in VISUALBASIC computer language.The software can perform the regulation calculation well and achieve the optimization goal which is the most output of the mill according to the spot request, it also can provide the optimum rolling regulation when the output speed changed. The precision of it is as well as the one which provided by the foreign company.This software can predict the rolling regulation well,put the rolling process in steady way and also set a good premise for quality and output control .Thus can better utilize the mill's capability.
