| It has been emphasized in this study that achieving a new technology on the existing equipments to reduce the dry heat-shrinkage of 1.33dtex×38mm bright staple fiber for sewing use,.The performance figure and the super-molecular structures of bright staple fiber have been compared beforehand between the products of Toray and Yizheng chemical fiber..After sufficient experiments performed on the existing facilities, the productive technologies were finally established for reducing dry heat-shrinkage of polyester staples.1. Maintaining the heat-setting temperature above 180℃. The relatively high temperature is propitious to the movement of polyester segments, which can reform the crystalline structures and reduce the inner stress and the dry heat-shrinkage.2. Prolonging the heat-setting time to provide enough relaxation time for high elastic strain, which can also reduce the inner stress and the dry heat-shrinkage.3. Reducing the tension upon the fiber under high temperature to provide enough movement space for polyester segments, which is beneficial to the relaxation of high elastic strain. |
