Distributed control system is a key control system of potato starch production line, therefore high demands are set on reliability, automation degree and serviceability of its motoring system. In the light of the principle of decentralized risk and centralized management, a monitoring system of a double network consisting of equipment network and control network is adopted in the project. A PLC is used for control, protection and data collection. An industrial control computer performs the functions of processing data and monitoring picture display. A real-time computer perform the online control to key part and coordinates their operation on the control network, which can give full play to high reliability of PLC and high speed computational capability.The project is based on the potato starch production line of Keshan Farm in Qiqihaer farm bureau of Heilongjiang province. A distributed control system has been developed , which allows automatic control of the whole technological process of production and automatic adjustment of technological parameters. The adoption of the distributed control system has brought about monitoring of the whole production process and accurate controlling of various physical quantities. As a result, stability of product quality is ensured and labor productivity and economic profits are improved.As the system controls is a typical process control and most steps are controlled in time order, so PLC-based distributed control method is suitable. Through analysis and in the light of the characteristics of the production line , a distributed control system based on Rockwell automation software and hardware has been designed to control the production of potato starch automatically.After introducing the composition and the principle of Keshan farm potato starch production line as well as structural design of its distributed control system, Composition of on-line controller design system , the principle of PID parameter optimization process and work process of optimization are stated and a plan for realizing PID parameter optimization in the distributed control system is designed.The distributed control system of Keshang farm potato starch production...
