Evaluation Of The Sustainable Development Of An Ecological Demongstration District

Ecological demonstration district is elemental form for the implementation of sustainable development. Evaluating the development of ecological demonstration is very important to perfect the theory of sustainable development and to instruct the practice. We should pay more attention to the development of ecological demonstration district in order to realize the sustainable development of the earth and protect environment.We should establish an index system and choose the proper mathematic model to identify whether the region is sustainable development. We should also analysis the data for describing state and trend in development of the region.In order to promote sustainable development of Ping Yin County, the author worked hard. First was collecting many data such as the index system about construction of ecological demonstration district in Ping Yin and the index system being issued by Environmental Protect Agency (EPA) of Country. Second was studying the research production of sustainable development field by heart and then setting up the evaluating index system of ecological demonstration district in Ping Yin County. Third was working out the weight coefficient of the evaluating indicator and the trend in sustainable development of ecological demonstration of Ping Yin County by using gray relational degree method in longitudinal direction and transverse direction. Fourth is calculating the aggregative index number of the index system to verify the conclusion.With the conclusion we can tell that the development capacity of Ping Yin County is increasing accompany slowly speed. In the other hand the coordination degree of the system is low, since the foundation of resource and environment system is poor. So in the long run, there are lots of things need to do for the sustainable development of Ping Yin County.
