The combination of hydraulic technology and electronic technology greatly enhance the degree of automation and control precision in the hydraulic system. This thesis is derived from a practical project of Dagang Oil Field of CNPC, which produces a kind of equipment to simulate the load which the pumping units with during working. The main contents of developing a high-precision load simulation equipment are described. With the advanced control method to control the working of hydraulic system, the equipment has good performance on precision and response speed.On the base of large amount of materials, this text analyses the current means that simulate the load which the pumping units with. This paper designs new load simulation equipment which based on electro-hydraulic control technology. The equipment reproduces the load which the actual indicator diagram takes on by an electro-hydraulic control system. This paper make some analyses on the movement and load of the hanging-point that is the base of development work; on the base of these theory, the paper design hydraulic system principle and compute the parts parameter. Subsequently, the paper goes about hardware design and software development of control system; in the end, the paper establishes the system mathematical model and do research on static characteristic and dynamic characteristic of control system according to the mathematical model. The paper optimizes the parameter of the PID controller with the computer simulation technology to improve the dynamic properties of system. The SIMULINK tool box in MATLAB software is used to imitate the system according to the model, which not only makes the result visual and easy to adjust the parameters in interactive way but also lets us understand the effects of different parameters.The study on load simulation equipment of oil extraction is a multi-subject intersectant project, which involves the mechanics, mechanics, hydraulic technology, automatic control technology and computer technology. The study realizes the combination of machine, hydraulic and electronics.
