The welding process automation is the key to improve the welding products quality and the production efficiency, and the auto weld tracking is an important link of the automatic welding. So, developing a seam tracking system, which have good performance and is economical and practical is an urgent problem to be solved. The main research of this text is the auto seam tracking technology of arc-sensor swinging type submerged arc welding, at first, a brief introduction of domestic and international trends of the welding automation and the auto seam tracking technology is made, then mainly discussed several key problems as follows.According to the characteristic of welding rod sending at changing speed regulating system in the submerged-arc welding, take use of the MATLAB software to proceed with the research of its dynamic process, have established the simulating model of the scanning unit in V-typed slope, the simulating model of the welding power unit, the simulating model of the welding arc unit, and on this basis has formed the simulating model of the whole system, the system has researched the influencing mechanism of the slope form,welding power and the molten drop transition type to the output welding current in an all-round way; have analyzed the influencing law of the main parameters of the arc sensor to the deviation information of the seam and the welding craft parameters; discussed the influence of the familiar interfering factors, which offer theoretical foundation for the establishment of the auto seam tracking system of arc-sensor swinging type submerged arc welding.Developed the arc signal sampling system, obtained the actual welding arc signal wave form during the submerged-arc welding process. According to the primitive arc signal wave form, determined the hardware signal processing method which takes a source having second rank Band Pass Filter as the core; the software filter takes use of the average value substitute the maximum.Introduced the principle of the traditional current (voltage) deviation examining method, and on this basis has put forward a new algorithm of drawing the horizontal position deviation of submerged arc welding seam --the measuring method of both voltage and current controlling, take use of this algorithm we can get comparatively accurate and reliable horizontal position deviation amount.Finally, on the basis of above introduced design finished the adjusting of the whole system, realized the auto seam tracking, and proceeded with the analyzing and...
