Preparation Of Surface Water Environment Management Information System Of Shandong Province

Based on the thorough analysis of the research status WEIS (both domestic and oversea) and status WEIS of Shandong province, referring to the theory of Management Information System, Geography Information System and Water Environmental Science, and according to the vocational standard and criterion, design objective and system function were put forward. Surface Water Environment Management Information System of Shandong Province was also set up then.The system consists of twelve function modules: surface water electronic map, development and utilization of surface water resource, plan of surface water environment function, investigation and estimation of pollution source, river gauging, water environment capacity management, repository, simulation and forecast of water pollution load, simulation and forecast of water quality, water environment capacity calculation, gross distribution of water pollutant. Every module is independent and has a style of its own in their function, but for the whole system, they are mutually dependent and become an organic whole body. Through using the geography information system software of MAPGIS, the program language of VB and the SqlServer background database management system, the system carried out the integrating GIS technique with surface water information management. Consequently, space graphics data linked with surface water environment information. So the feature of this study is fully using the water system electronic map. By the means of the water system electronic map, functions such as: information accurately located on the space position, data searched from the electronic map and statistic data, display the result with graph and so and were easily carried out. Because of the system setting up, the problem of water information system decentralized management was resolved, enhancing the level of the Shandong province water environment information system.
