In modern time,under the precondition of satisfying the material life,people aspire to and pursue the beautiful life more strongly.Traveling has become a kind of necessities for people,and ecological leisure and vacation have become the mainstream demand of tourists.Water is the mother of all things and the basis for survival.It is the cradle of human civilization.Because of its dynamic and aura of beauty,water ecological space has become an important factor attracting tourists.Water ecological space such as coastal waters,rivers and lakes is not only an important landscape of the earth,but also an accumulation of history and culture in the region.It is the best choice for people’s leisure and vacation.However,due to the vigorous promotion of industrialization and new-type urbanization,human activities have intensified,and problems such as the waste of water resources,pollution of water environment,and the squeeze of aquatic ecological space still exist.Water ecological space is eco-saving and environment-friendly,and tourism is recognized as a green industry in which people and nature live in harmony.Therefore,tourism is one of the best ways to achieve the protection and utilization of water ecological space,and is one of the best choices for the use of water resources.It is important to study the tourism development of aquatic ecological space for the protection of aquatic ecological space,the optimization of land and space and the promotion of aquatic ecological civilization Meaning.This paper takes Shandong Province as the research area.First,it establishes the purpose and significance of the research.Through reading the literature on ecological space,water ecological space,and aquatic ecological space tourism development at home and abroad,it points out the characteristics of current research and the problems that exist.Provide theoretical support.Secondly,it explores the development of water ecological tourism in Shandong Province.Through combing the types,functions,and characteristics of water ecological space,it analyzes the development of tourism in coastal ecological space,river ecological space,and lake ecological space in both qualitative and quantitative terms.The status quo and existing problems.Thirdly,based on the influencing factors of tourism development potential,an evaluation index system was established from the following aspects: tourism resource endowment,tourism market development,social and economic security,ecological environment,and water ecological spaceoptimization.Information weight entropy method was used to determine index weights,and The TOPSIS method measures and evaluates the potential of hydro-ecological space tourism development in 17 cities in Shandong Province.The potential values and rankings of each dimension are obtained,and then the comprehensive evaluation results are clustered and analyzed;17 prefectures and cities in Shandong Province are divided into four categories.Areas with strong potential for tourism development,including Yantai and Qingdao;areas with strong potential for tourism development,including Jinan,Weihai,Weifang,Linyi,Jining,and Rizhao;moderate tourism development potential areas,including Dongying,Tai’an,Zaozhuang,and Liaocheng;areas with weak tourism development potential,including Binzhou,Zibo,Laiwu,Dezhou,and Heze.Finally,propose the water eco-space tourism development and improvement measures in Shandong Province,and enhance the countermeasures include building a vibrant water city,water management according to law,improving service quality,building a water culture system,and nurturing quality tourism.The 17 major cities in Shandong Province can develop according to their own development.Select appropriate development strategies and turn the potential of tourism development into real competitive power as soon as possible.
