Studying And Development Of Die & Mold CAD/CAM System Based On Pro/Engineer

With die&mold industry developing quickly ,to employ technology of CAD/CAM in die&mold industry in changing the traditional method of die&mold designment,and making die&mold designment intellectually and automatically in some extent was now becoming a research focus in die&mold technology.But at present there were more problems in the application of the technology of die&mold CAD/CAM ,such as low efficiency and quality,concentrateing the technology of CAD/CAM in 2D drawing ,running short of the Chinese standard-part library and mold bracket.And secondary development of CAD/CAM system was the key method of resolve these problems.Aiming at this ,the subject about studying and development of die&mold CAD /CAM based on Pro/Engineer was given after consulting relatival document and knowledge about die&mold .The author used Visual C ++ 6.0 developing tool to empolder Pro/Engineer Wildfire and builted up a punching die CAD/CAM system which can be best used in mold field .The main contents of this thesis was as follow : (1)In order to deal with knowledge about die&mold ,including technical knowledge and design experience ,KBE (Knowledge Based Engineering )was used.And the knowledge was handled by different way according to different knowledge format ,such as formula ,table chart ,rule and case .(2)The IDEFO(Integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing DEFinition method) was applied to construct the fuction model of the system,after analysing the data current of the die &mold CAD/CAM system.(3)A new calculating approach of pressing center and the optimum layout plan of a workpiece was studied based on the circumstance of Pro/Engineer .And give a turnover idea to decide the arts and crafts of product .(4)Combined with the Pro/Engineer special element tree building model ,the nonstandard part such as die block was design and make the these nonstandard part designment intellectually .(5)Build a Chinese standard 3D library which enable the user to select the die patten according to the parameter .(6)The system can Auto assemble the parts which had been completly designed.(7) The Pro/NC's CAM function was used to simulate manufacture of the die&mold and at last the tool path file and NC code was generated by this system.(8)Combining...
