By heating the crude oil in pipeline, the heating furnace can prevent oil solidificationand reduce oil viscosity. Settlement crude oils high waxy, high viscosity and high pourpoint problems in our country. So the heating furnace has a wide application in oil and gasprojects. The calculation of heating furnace heat-work and design of heating furnace steelstructures are very complex. Traditional manual calculation and two-dimensional drawingdesign do not meet the requirements of modern heating furnace company. The applicationof three-dimensional CAD technique becomes more and more widely in mechanicalmanufacture. Some companies are using computer-aided design software to improve theefficiency of heating furnace design. But mainly used on the two-dimensional design. Theapplication of three-dimensional design technology is less. The calculation of heat-workstill uses hand-calculation. So the design efficiency of furnace is not high.This article major study on the GJ4000KW-Y/6.3-Y octagonal tube heating furnace.According to the enterprise project (Optimization design of structure using finite elementanalysis for heating furnace) actually requirements, this article developed an octagonaltube heating furnace design system. Based on the SolidWorks secondary developmentplatform, Visual Basic programming tools and SolidWorks API interface functions, thissystem can realizes the calculation of heat-work and parametric modeling, automatedassembly and automation engineering graphics features such as.In the development of radiation room parameterization design, this article focus onanalysis of conventional calculation method of radiant room heat-power, includingexperience method and Ropo-Troy Evans method. Through the analysis of their strengthsand weaknesses draws a new calculation of heat-work model. This model is suitable foroctagonal tube heating furnace design system. This article studied on SolidWorkssecondary development and part parametric design technology. These technologies areapplied to octagonal tube heating furnace design system.This article used Access 2003 to storage design parameters, used Programmingmethod to realize the calculation of heat-work, used the SolidWorks secondarydevelopment technology to realize the parametric modeling, automated assembly and automation engineering graphics and used the parametric design techniques to achieveradiant room part parameters and serialization design. During the system development, thetheory and practice combined. It greatly improved the design efficiency of the heatingfurnace and reducing duplication works. The design efficiency of enterprise has beenimproved.
