With the development of the pharmaceutical industry in our country, Much attention has been paid to the pollution of the wastewater treatment and the relevant solutions. There are various organic pollutants containing in the wastewater, among which most are difficult to be degraded or would have inhibition effect on microorganism. And it's hard to get the anticipating result if the traditional methods and techniques are used to dispose the wastewater. On the basis of the related studies both at home and abroad, taking the wastewater from a pharmaceutical factory in Zhuzhou as the disposal object and the writer made a research on the application of the two methods, to dispose it, the method of unitized hydrolysis acidification (A) - the sequence active sludge method (SBR) and the technique of using photosynthetic bacteria(PSB).The research shows that if a hydrolysis acidification tank with slow-release catalyst in it is added in front of the SBR reactor in the unitized processing method A-SBR, the wastewater would be more likely to produce biochemical reaction and the rate of it would be enhanced dramatically, thus the generating amount of residual sludge decreased. At the same time, the hydrolysis acidification tank and the regulating tank are unitized, which is especially suitable to dispose the toxic organic wastewater whose quantity and quality fluctuate substantially. The small amount of residual sludge is discharged into the acidification tank, which not only enriches the sorts of bacteria in the tank, but also gets the residual sludge to be further nitrified improving the sludge hygiene condition and making the sludge easier to be dewatered. The quality of the inlet substrate in the SBR biochemical tank in the A-SBR system is high, the consistency gradient and F/M are wide, the sludge life is short and the rate of ratio-increase is great. The whole system is operated in the way of A2/0, which ultimately suppresses the proliferation of the specific and facultative filamentous bacteria, so it is more effectively to avoid the sludge expanding than the regular SBR method.
