| Along with the rapid development of economy in China, a large amount of SO2 emissions owing to coal consumption in primary energy, have resulted in severe environmental pollution. FGD(flue gas desulfurization) is only cosmically commercial desulfurization type in the world, and it is a dominating technology measure to control SO2 emission in coal-fired power plant.There are many FGD technologies, include of wet method, half-desiccated method and desiccated method desulfurization technologies, they are developing synchronously now. Various FGD technologies were imported from foreign countries in China in 1990's, good environmental benefits have been gained in these demonstration power plant projects.
