Pressure control of soft rock lane in deep mine has always been one of the difficult problems in mine engineering. With the enlargement of exploiting scale and deeper exploitation, the issue of maintaining the deep lane in soft rock has being becoming more and more protruding. It's the key of deep mine exploitation and safe production whether this issue can be solved or not.This paper focuses on the distortion and damage of lanes in deep soft rocks of Baijiao Coal Mine while digging and using. Combined experience of construction with investigation and survey on spot, this paper analysed the reasons and regulations of distortion and damage, adopting a method of theory analytical and numerical simulation. Also pressure control methods are brought up in this paper. In test zones of Baijiao Coal Mine, to some degree, reasonable and feasible maintenance methods have instructive meanings for controlling lane pressure based on different conditions of rock and stress as well as experimental research. This paper has given below main fruits:(1). By monitoring loosening status of rock around the lanes after digging with the aid of multi points displacement apparatus, we can get the loosening range of the rock under deep coal to be about 4.0~5.0m on the support of archer-net-girder-jet; while under mined regions the displacement of the deep round rock is within 10.0mm, ranging within 6.0m.(2). As to lanes under coal and lost-pressure band in mined regions , choosing two different maintenance methods and then making numerical analysis, we can draw a conclusion on controlling effect, stress and plastic zone distribution of different methods under different stress conditions with the aid of ANSYS software.(3). Archer rope is used as a second maintenance method in Baijiao Coal Mine.By contrast analysis of monitoring on spot, we can conclude that using archer-net-girder-jet joint sustainment as a temporary maintenance and archer-net-girder- jet joint sustainment as second maintenance can better control the distortion and damage of deep lanes in soft rocks.(4).
