In the view of the importance of toys to children's growing up and present situation of toy design, this thesis has made children toy design as the goal of research, investigated and analyzed the present status of children toy's consumption, summarized the essential factor of construction of children toy, and come to a conclusion that the design of children toy should satisfied the favorite of children and considered the desire of children's parents.A new idea has been proposed and deeply discussed in this thesis, which suggest that children should be considered as the core of design when designing toys for them. Applying relative theory of Multiple Intelligence and Psychology and Pedagogy and practical investigation, this thesis has made children as research object, analyzed the cognition psychology and behavioral characteristic of children, discussed that the games play a crucial role in the process of children's quality education, illustrated that toy design should adapt to the behavioral characteristic of children.The desire of parents of children should be emphatically considered in the process of children toy design, which call for that the toy should realized the educational function for children's quality. This thesis has made children toy as research object, and discussed the toy from a view of function, summarized the representation of educational function of children toy, systematically illustrated that seven characteristics of children toy should be considered in the process of toy design for children in order to improve the educational function of children toy. This has provided theoretical basis and factor of consideration for researching the function of toy and designing toy.On the basis of frontal research and analysis, this thesis has summarized the main point in the process of children toy design, and proposed four new methods for the design and development of children toy product, so this provided a scientific and reasonable frame of reference for the design and development of children's toys.
